Our client is a leading international manufacturer of printing technology, specialising in solutions for the label and flexographic printing industry. As part of its continued growth, the business is looking to appoint a Business Development Manager to develop its presence across the French label market.
We are seeking an ambitious and commercially minded individual to identify new opportunities, develop relationships with label manufacturers and converters, and introduce customers to the company’s market-leading flexographic printing solutions.
The Role:
As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Develop and execute a sales strategy across the French label market
- Identify, target, and secure new business with label manufacturers and converters
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers
- Understand customer production requirements and identify suitable printing solutions
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to closing
- Work closely with an experienced senior commercial team to develop your technical and commercial knowledge
Requirements:
As an applicant for the position, you will have the following:
- Experience within the label manufacturing, converting or flexographic printing industry
- Candidates from label manufacturers with technical, production or commercial experience will be considered
- Strong commercial awareness and desire to develop within a sales environment
- Technically minded with an interest in printing technology
- Ambitious, proactive, and keen to learn from an experienced senior team
- Fluent French and good English
- Willingness to travel extensively throughout France
